March 9th 2006:
I got a slip for Pi Day. It said there was a Pi Memorization Contest. It also said, on www.joyofpi.com you can find the value of Pi to 10,000 digits!

I looked at this website and I saw the digits. 3.1415926535... I QUIT!
March 12th 2006:
Dad forced me to memorize some digits. I sat there with 10,000 digits printed out, a chalkboard, chalk, and an eraser. All I could remember was 3.14159 something something 535. Then I saw those 3 digits alone. If I remember 3 digits at a time, I'd memorize 3 digits at a time. 3.1415926535. I wrote them on my chalkboard. Then I took my TTD (Ten Thousand Digits) and looked at the next three. 897. i wrote them on my chalkboard. 3.1415926535897. I closed my eyes and said to myself 3.1415926535897. So, I kept on going. By the time I went to bed I've memorized 3.1415926535897932384626433 (26 digits).
